Germany’s second largest city is home to approximately 1.7 million inhabitants with an additional 5.8 million tourists visiting each year. It is home to the largest port in Germany and is a key transport hub, earning it the nickname the gateway to the World’. It is also a large industrial and media centre. Thankfully however, it has a thriving party scene – hence the reason it features on our website! Although not as talked about as Berlin, Hamburg is a destination that comprises of vibrant neighbourhoods, cool nightlife, a red light district as famous as Amsterdam and some great afternoon activities which you can get stuck into!
Getting to Hamburg is as cheap and chips with Easyjet, BA and German Wings all making the direct trip from Gatwick and Heathrow for as low as £60 return. The flight is a mere 1hr 30 minutes. So what are you waiting for? Book your Hamburg stag do today!!!! If you’re coming in July and August you can expect temperatures of up to 21 and 22 degrees centigrade, respectively – with an average of 17 in July – so remember to slap on the sunscreen!
With many clubs, bars, concerts and shows, Hamburg’s nightlife really does cater for all tastes and budgets. If you are after electronic beats, chilled reggae sounds or an extravagant celebrity haunt we can cater for your needs. Let’s be honest, you do not want to waste your own time scouring the web for the best nightlife in Hamburg. Book a Bar Crawl with and tell us what you like and leave it to our local experts with the insider knowledge! The Schanzenviertel neighbourhood is a vibrant student area and home to many bars such as Goldfischglas and Katze, where you can get warmed up for the night ahead. The Portugiesenviertel area is located near to the harbour and also offers a large selection of restaurants and bars where you can have a few cheeky afternoon drinks.
A Hamburg stag do would not be complete without some bare skin! We can provide a number of strip services that introduces you to Hamburg’s hottest babes. We can transfer you from the airport to your hotel in style in our Strip Limo, or wake the stag up after your first night with our sexy hotel service. Alternatively you can enjoy the sights of the city from the river Elbe and the sights of a local filly taking her clothes off on our love boat! You can sail down river privately with a strip show on our Strip Ship or on a public tour on our Harbour Cruise activity.
Just a small stroll from the Schanzenviertel area lies a 930 metre strip of neon naughtiness known by locals as die sündigste Meile (the most sinful mile). Everyone else knows it as The Reeperbahn and a Hamburg stag do would not be complete without a visit to this world famous street in the St Pauli district. Similarly to the red light district in Amsterdam it is home to many pubs, clubs, bars, strip clubs and brothels. It is popular with both those out to enjoy themselves (in various ways) and tourists who wish to see what all the fuss is about. If you want to really see the best the area has to offer then we’d suggest booking our Reeperbahn Tour & Beers.
Although synonymous with strip clubs and brothels, the Reeperbhan predominantly consists of restaurants, bars and clubs and there are some gems to be found here. Herzblut is a mixture of all three where you can get warmed up and grab something to eat. For the clubbers amongst you there are plenty of clubs and bars in and around the Reeperbahn area. Head to Baalsaal for the best house and techno djs or the lavish Halo which is a good bet if you go on a week day.
Some of the Reeperbahn’s small music venues witnessed the Beatles play before they rose to superstardom and their influence is honoured in Beatles Platz.
A Hamburg stag do caters well for the adrenaline junkies among you and we have many different activities that will get your blood pumping long before the strippers come out to play! We allow you to shoot your mate’s annoying friend from work in an afternoon of Paintball Outdoor. This is also an opportunity to make sure that the stag leaves Hamburg with plenty of bruises! If you like the idea of shooting real guns (not at each other) then book our Shooting Rifle activity. If you’ve never shot guns before, don’t worry, there will be an instructor at hand. Book this activity out who the true marksman of your group is!
Go for a Hamburg stag weekend if you’ve got a taste for wild action. Take advantage of the fact that the city is so close to the sea, and book up some water-based adrenaline activities. Book up our Waterski / Wakeboarding activity and feel really “refreshed” as you speed through a purpose built course, trying to keep steady on the wakeboard, holding on for dear life! This is exactly the kind of wake up call that you and the lads will need after a hard night partying on the Reeperbahn. And there’s no better hangover cure (apart from hair of the dog) than a bit of adrenaline-fuelled madness.
Got a bit of a need for speed? Fancy yourself as a F-1 champion? Well we can’t provide you with formula one cars, but we can book you up on our Indoor Go-Karting activity. We can’t promise you champagne at the end but we can offer you glory and the smug feeling that you are better than all your mates at driving.
If you are still boozing at 5am on a Sunday morning or describe yourself as a ‘morning person’, then head to the local Fischmarkt. Until 11am you can soak up your beer with copious amounts of fish or sausage. But there are plenty of things to do and see in Hamburg during the day, though probably more than you will have time for if you’re on an intense stag weekend…though whatever activity you choose, we’d definitely recommend a tour through the streets that includes beer stops. Or perhaps just continuous flows of the stuff, as with the Beer Bike.
Hamburg is situated on the Elbe River and has more canals than Venice or Amsterdam. Therefore a harbour cruise is absolutely essential. The trip lasts an hour and this is undoubtedly the best place to view the city from. Hamburg has plenty of great parks to chose from and was named the European Green Capital in 2011. The Planten und Blomen is one such park, where you can spend lazy days with a beer, chatting up the local females! A short walk away lies the ‘heart of Hamburg’, the Jungfernstieg, where you will find many restaurants and shops. A walk around the inner Alster lake is highly recommend. If you are after some new clobber for the night ahead then get yourself down to the Mönckebergstrasse where the city’s best shops can be found. And for great views of the city, head to Kennedy Bridge!
You don’t just have to trounce through the streets of Hamburg, there are plenty of ways to see this exciting city! Want to take a tour in style on your Hamburg stag weekend? Book our Hot Rod tour and you will be able to drive through the city led by a fun, informative and never-boring guide. If you’re short for time and want to cram in as much as possible, a site-specific tour might be the thing for you. Try our U-Boat Inspection activity, and explore a Cold-War era Russian submarine. This is perfect for lads who want a taste of James Bond style history, plus some great photo opportunities too!
